Sung by CC Barnard, it represents the lives of many Liberians, like my family, that came here because of the war. Liberia, although a part of Sub-Saharan Africa, is considered to be "Little America" because of the principles, morals, and ideas that the freed slaves from here took to their beloved land of liberty. The African drumming is present, demonstrating a common quality in African music.
